*This is a contracting remote role (full time equivalent) with a rotating weekend schedule.

40 hours minimum per week will include the following alternating weeks (timings allow an hour for lunch):

Week 1:

Tuesday 9.30am-6.30pm*

Thursday 9.30am-6.30pm*

Friday 4pm - 2am

Saturday 4pm - 2am

Sunday 4pm - 2am

Week 2:

Monday - Friday

9.30am-6.30pm*

*We work flexitime so these are guidelines when most of the media buying team are working - sometimes they start or end much later. You will be able to choose when you work on these days, as long as you do at least 40 hours and are available when your teammates need you.

Job Description:

We are looking for a smart, curious marketer to join our Media buying team. Media-buying experience is not necessarily a prerequisite, as we have our own techniques, although we welcome applications from more experienced buyers.

The role will involve setting up and running / monitoring large Meta/Tiktok/Google Ads/Pinterest/Youtube campaigns to sell tickets for arts events worldwide. Additionally, we are looking for someone to help with monitoring our live shows for cancellations/postponements at weekends and notifying our customers if we have last minute cancellations.

To do this job effectively, you should possess great tactical and organisational skills and an experimental mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Media buying

    • Ensure that advertisements reach target audiences at the lowest possible prices.
    • Ensure that advertisements are appropriately displayed and creative.
    • Monitor Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) and control costs/risks on a daily basis.
    • Be creative -- experimenting with new platforms and channels, looking for new ways to reduce our cost per sale
    • Maintain and adjust scheduling on an as-needed basis
    • Analyze and optimize plans and performance
    • Assist in identifying target audiences and feeding back analytics to the rest of the team

    Weekend show cancellations

      • Assist ticketing team with show cancellations or postponements
      • Take tickets off sale in the event of cancellations or postponements
      • Using MailChimp/SMS and Firetext to notify customers if shows have to be canceled or postponed

      Qualifications:

      • Outstanding critical thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills.
      • Problem-solving mindset
      • Interest in social media and media trends
      • Highly computer literate
      • BSc/BA in Advertising, Marketing, or similar field preferred.
      • Fluent English
